Oppo has introduced another model of the Reno family named Reno4 pro, the previous variants had the 4G connectivity Reno4 works on 5G connectivity. This mobile is also hitting the news because of the insertion of the new Snapdragon 720G chipset. Snapdragon is below some places than the top-notch chipset and that is the S765G chipset; still, this phone has top speed and flexibility to perform under tough conditions. The telephoto camera is no more in this model, but it still has the quad-camera setup, which comprises a 48MP camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera; complementing this, we have a couple of 2MP shooter for flawless photos.
The phone’s body is made of plastic, both front and back, and for protection, it has a gorilla glass at the front. The phone comes with two beautiful variants named Starry Night and Silky White. The company claims to provide a brightness of 1100 nits, the tests and studies conducted states that this phone can provide us 843 nits of brightness. If we do not include the ambient light in the picture, we can go up to 508nits. The results prove that Reno4 Pro’s display can give a tough competition to any middle-range smartphone.
Another great thing to mention about the display is that it supports HDR capability. Even the company has not made any promotions and claim about mobile capability, but it clearly supports HDR.
Battery Life of Reno4 Pro
The Reno4 has a battery capacity of 4000mAh; this battery capacity provides a great combination of screen, chipset, and display. You can see videos in the loop until 19 hours. Display of 90Hz with web browsing can last the battery up to 11.30 hours.
Another standout feature or Reno4 Pro is that it supports 65W fast charging. Another tremendous technical apparatus support this charging, and that is SuperVOOC 2.0. The company claims that your phone would be fully charged in 36 minutes, but tests tell us that it can charge the phone in 31 minutes.
There is a single speaker provided by Reno4 pro. It fulfills the standard quality of loudness.
Specifications and OS
Snapdragon 720G chipset powers- Reno4; as we discussed that this chipset is nearly the best processor you can get. Complementing the chipset, we have 8Gb of RAM and internal storage of 128GB and 256 GB.
These specifications prove the fact that this phone can give tough competition to any middle-range phone. Reno4 has upgraded the operating system to ColorOS 7.2; this version is 0.1 version new than another ColorOS operating system. This operating system is complemented by Android 10.
The app icons are fully customizable; you can set them up in shape and size you want. You can also apply a third-party icon-packet. The navigation system is the general Android 10, so you would not have any problem working on the phone.

Reno4 has four cameras, which fulfill the new standard of quad cameras I middle range. We have a primary camera of 48MP with a 1.7 aperture lens. The primary camera is combined with 8MP ultra-wide snapper with a 2.4 aperture. There is no telephoto camera, but a couple of 2MP cameras is added in the quad-camera setup.
Daylight photos of the Reno4 with the primary camera is excellent and enhances every detail. You can see the sharpness and detail once you come across the picture. The full 48MP mode can give some extra detail; there is no telephoto, but you are offered with 2x and 5x zoom positions.
The ultrawide photos are of no match in terms of dynamic range and color saturation with the Reno4 main cameras. But the camera is great if you compare it with other middle range ultra-wide photos.
Oppo has managed to pull off a tremendous solid selfie performance. Images are captured in 32Mp resolution; you cannot choose any other resolution, so you should be prepared for bigger files. The pictures captured with the front camera are of great detail; you can see some noise, but in this high resolution, that can be hidden. HDR mode is not that great; basically, you can tell any difference.
You can record a video up to 4k resolution at 30 frames per second with the primary camera. You can also have zoom up to 2x and 5x levels.
